Pyecombe Social Committee organises great events throughout the year. All the events raise money to support activities in the village or local charities. Please show your support by coming along, getting involved and having fun!

What Pyecombe offers:
Pyecombe Village Choir – the choir started in December 2015 with a carol singing evening around the village and since then has grown from strength to strength. They meet every Friday at 6pm at the Church, all are welcome. Songs are a mix of classical, popular and folk with many opportunities to perform throughout the year and raise money for various charities.
Bookclub – meets on the first Monday of each month at various participants homes. The choice of books read are chosen by the members and mostly discussed over a glass of wine. Please see events page for the venue and books being read. Pyecombe Book Club Books
Village Weekend – for over 30 years the village and Church have held a two day weekend event and Flower Festival in July. Villagers create flower displays to fit with the theme for the year and there is local food on sale along with stalls, games and recently introduced a Fancy Dress Dog Show. Quiz Night – is usually held once a year, we are fortunate to be able to use Pangdean Barn,check the calendar for the date of the next quiz night.
100 Club – this is run by Wendy Desborough in aid of Church Funds. For a small annual fee your name is entered in a monthly draw, you may be one of 3 winners and receive a cash prize.
Christmas Fayre – this annual event, takes place in Hurspierpoint, it offers a variety of stalls and refreshments, plus raffles, including a grand raffle. It raises money for the Church.
Pyecombe Music Festival – this new weekend event started in 2016 and proved to be very popular. From formal recitals to folk concerts; from medieval music to jazz and rock, whatever your taste in music you should find something to enjoy.
